Loved the review and very interesting what you said in comparison to MAMMA. Makes me want to see it more. Did you happen to get a discount ticket when you saw it? I've been hunting around for one and found $43 tickets at (http://www.broadwaybox.com/shows/priscilla_queen_of_the_desert_nyc_tickets.aspx). Any other thoughts?

I have enjoyed these posts Dan. Only 8 hours until all will be revealed!
Think I liked JC Superstar more than you (and not just because I'm trying to make it happen!)
So weird to think that Spider-man could be nominated as best musical but it is definitely a chance given the alternative choices.
Will be interesting to see if any shows close after tomorrow's announcement of nominations. There sure are a lot of plays on at the moment.
Happy Tonys season!

I 100% agree with you about Raul Esparza and a Tony . He is a phenominon on that stage and the audience leaves that theater in rapture. I hate critics that have to tear down in order to sell papers. I'm going back to Leap. I loved it!

Interesting point about ahow many new musicals are based on movies at the moment!
I agree with all your comments about the show. It is going to be really interesting to see how the press critics respond. It's us to be a crowd pleaser either way.
You only mde a brief comment about the dancing - I hated the choreography! Watching from the mezzanine, the dancinglooked not even as good as a high school musical. Dancers were good but choreography was poor.
Loved the show otherwise!
