"I wonder what they would have thought it if was about their religion or their ethnic background? What if the musical belittled your sexuality? Would that be okay?"

It's comedy. I don't take myself so seriously that I can't handle jokes at my expense. As a non-mormon, if someone made fun of my sexuality, race, or agnosticism, that would absolutely be ok.

I saw On A Clear Day twice this month and absolutely loved the show. I'm not an analytical person and like shows that touch my heart, which this one did in every way, music, acting, the originality of the revised book, direction, scenery, orchestra, the guts to present a play about the possibility of reincarnation. I thought the whole show was quality elegance. And Mr. Connick is elegance!

I love how exited people are getting about this show. It is on my list for a spring NY trip. A friend of mine is related to Cristin, so I'm exited to see the show for that reason. But also because it looks like it will be amazing.

ABSOLUTELY! The main reason I didn't write this, is I never had the chance to see to see it. I opened up right after my last trip to NYC and I'm not going back till next month, so I completely missed it. If I would have put that has my #1 reason on why the show was closed, I would have been "murdered" in the comments -- saying "you don't know what you are talking about, you never saw the show"... blah, blah, blah.

Basically, I was waiting for someone else to finally say, "The material was crap, that's why." ;) So thank you...
